Centre for Innovative Biology and Environmental Technology (CiBET) is a non governmental organization committed for bridging science and the society. It serves as a nodal centre for contract research and consultancies. Our team of dynamic and knowledgeable researchers work with the people to provide scientific solutions to problems affecting the environment and in areas where biotechnological interventions can lead to better solutions.

We extend research and development solutions in biological effluent management , plant tissue culture, microbial enzyme production, biomass conversion and value addition, food quality control and other areas of biotechnology.

We also undertake Human Resource Development in biotechnology by providing customer oriented training in various fields.

CiBET aims to function as a transducer of scientific knowledge to the common public for an integrated approach in environmental impact management and how biotechnology can provide solutions to common problems. Our Volunteers educate at the grass root level to create public awareness and involvement for environmental quality management.

We have expertise in industrial biotechnology, plant and animal cell and tissue culture and can provide R&D solutions to your specific needs.

CiBET will provide free training to academicians in conducting public awareness campaigns and our personnel experienced in social work is always willing to help you in your efforts for a green world.
